Imagine the scene. I’m travelling in Spain, last year, and I meet Nicolás. He’s a lovely guy and I end up doing a bit of magic for him.
He’s very impressed and says that he’s going to get me a gig. His cousin, Rita, needs a magician and he’s going to recommend me.
