A couple of weeks ago, we were on an incredible ski holiday in France. We often go to a remote resort called Val Cenis and the company, MGS Ski, really make it something special! Not only is Val Cenis an incredibly quiet resort, but the MGS package includes expert ski guiding in the afternoons!
I was put into the top ski group, which meant that I had the best guide on the mountain. The man, the legend, Philippe Roger. Each afternoon, he took us to places that had a fairly significant avalanche risk, but the pay off was skiing in untouched powder that no one else could get to. That might sound a bit mad, but if I’m ever in an avalanche, I really hope it’s when Philippe is with me!

Magic in the mountains
At the top of one of our walks up the mountain, I got talking to Philippe about magic and he asked if he could film something for the Val Cenis website. This is what I did …
