It’s great to be nominated, but we’ll not find out what happens for a little while yet. Guess we’ll have to get on with enjoying this weather for a few weeks in the mean time!
Heatwave
Have you been able to make the most of the heatwave? The kids have been enjoying the start of the summer holiday. And there was an incredible storm in the middle of the night here a couple of days ago! I woke up to one of the most impressive sites I’ve ever seen. I love a good thunder storm!
The downside is performing in a suit in hot weather. Just imagine it. Out in the sunshine, performing at events with lots of smiling faces having a great time. And me, having to be a few degrees warmer than usual! I even position myself in the group so that the sun is in my eyes instead of theirs. It really is a tough life!
